What counts as a minute?
A minute is 60 seconds of active call time — from when Parlo answers to when the call ends or is transferred. We round up to the nearest second, not the nearest minute. Idle hold time with no voice activity is not billed.
Do you offer contracted minutes vs. pay-as-you-go?
Both. Starter and Growth include a minutes bundle — unused minutes don't roll over. If you need committed volume pricing (lower per-minute rate in exchange for a minimum commit), contact us and we'll structure a contract. Enterprise customers typically run on committed contracts.
What's the overage rate?
Starter overages bill at $0.20/min. Growth overages bill at $0.15/min. You're notified by email when you hit 80% of your included minutes. No surprise bills — we cap overage and alert before auto-upgrading your plan.
Is there multi-region pricing?
Our cloud infrastructure is globally distributed — no geographic surcharge for routing calls to APAC, EMEA, or LATAM. Enterprise customers with strict data residency requirements can select their primary region; this may affect pricing. Talk to us.
